HELLO!! Hello? helloooo....hellooo (echoing)

My little blog has been feeling neglected. I have not been inspired to write much. But I am still here! The pandemic and the self-quarantine have really messed with my interests. You know I love to read, but guess what? I have barely been able to read a thing for the last couple of months! For some reason I cannot settle down and give my full attention to a book! I'm perplexed and hope it will correct itself soon. Right now I am managing to listen to a book on the podcast, "Phoebe Reads a Mystery." She is reading Dracula by Bram Stoker. I have never read it in my life, so decided to listen to broaden my knowledge of classics. It has been a little creepy and then a little interesting in ways other than creepy. We're not done yet. She reads one chapter per day. I have been sewing. Here are some examples: Oh, wait! Blogger has changed its format! Where do I find the insert for sharing photos??? Sheesh... it's not even honoring my desire for paragraphs. I'm lost!

I couldn’t help laughing. It is all still there, really! Just looks a little different. Should I send you some screenshots?

You can revert to the old Blogger. I couldn't figure out the new one -- they haven't been very helpful -- so I clicked the option to stay with the old one. Glad to see your posts!

Look in the upper right hand corner of the page where you generate a post - near your Blogger profile image (not the big question mark in the center of the. top of the page). There are lots of how-to notes there. And I am having trouble staying with much of anything for more than a little bit - lots of short bursts of sewing, reading, cleaning (shock), cooking, laundry, etc. Is it weird to say that I actually MISS running errands?! Hang in there - we're all doing the best we can to cope.

I hope things will settle down down for you and you’ll find yourself with a good read in hand soon. I’ve found focusing on anything but what is happening with COVID and the overall condition of our country nearly impossible, creating a time thief and emotional distractor from what was once routine (“normal”) life. Our country is in flux and I truly hope we can move forward with the vast change that needs to be made. I hope what was “normal” yet a bad situation for people will be changed so we can all enjoy our basic human right to good health, kindness and freedom to live without fear and oppression in a healthy environment. I have been listening to audio books too. The library has a huge selection (Overdrive) available to download and I’ve taken advantage of that from the start. The one thing I could do for a time was to assemble jigsaw puzzles and listened to books. There are times when it’s a comfort to listen to a voice telling a story - one other than what plays in my mind on repeat. I have been noticing other bloggers mentioning a change to the settings for blogger and had no idea that you can keep your old format until I read the comment here on your post. I gave up blogging and moved to the ease of Instagram eight years ago. Easy for me to say! :D
