Bag Lady - That's Me

I made a bunch of bags (more than this photo shows) that will become school kits for kids in other countries. And I cut out kits for 18 more! I hope people at church will take these kits and quickly turn them into bags. I'm bored with making them and don't want to make any more!!

I did, however, use some of the bag-fabric leftovers and make this patchwork one which is more elaborate. It is quilted and lined and has a button closure. I used someone's very clever idea of using a hair binder (new, not used) for the button holder. This quilted bag is going to be for sale at our church bazaar. What do you think? Will it sell???

This is the back

inside is a batik, and notice the hair binder/button loop at top of the photo

Yep - I'd buy it! Cute - oh my, now I'll have to investigate the hair clip section at K-Mart!

I agree: the bag will sell. I'd buy it in a flash.

Your grandbaby quilt from the previous entry is beautiful. What a great idea to incorporate signing. Love the colors and the pattern.
