What Do You Think?

I managed to put together two tops this weekend. Even while being a bit distracted, I could work with pre-made blocks; and most of the scrap pieces on the blue top were also pre- made. That made it easy to sew mindlessly, just what I needed.

Here is a top on which I want your advice. The blocks are sewn into rows, but the rows are not yet sewn together. There is a mistake in this top. Can you see it? Before I sew the rows together, should I fix it? I am inclined to leave it as is. What do you think?

This blue one is going to Quilts Beyond Borders.

P.S. Thank you for your kind sentiments in response to my post of yesterday. I appreciate it!

Would bottom right be the block in question just going in the opposite direction to the others?
I guess we all have an opinion on whether we like to have everything just perfect, personally I quite like a block with a different orientation. I guess it does draw the eye to that corner. Are you having a border? Perhaps that will make some difference.

Leave it - adds to the charm!

My guess was the same as Mystic Quilter. Does it HAVE to be called a mistake? It's just asymmetry, right?

Leave it! Love it!

I would leave it. The recipient will probably love it that way.

I would leave it, I like it!

Me too! I'd leave it, because I think it's fun to have something not quite perfect.

Sorry to hear about your Mom. It's a tough time to go through, and my heart goes out to you. Keep doing whatever quilting you can manage, because staying busy helps. Especially when what you're doing helps others.
