These are the challenge quilts at our local show. We each had to draw a color crayon from a bag, and then make a small quilt using mostly that color. I was amazed and impressed with all the creative quilts people made. I personally have not yet voted, because I am having a hard time deciding. So I'm curious... which would YOU vote for?

they are all so wonderful -- what a hard choice to be faced with.... IF I were to pick one, I'd vote for #1 as I love the applique interaction with the peiced background -- how it peeks through in the slits, and how the flowers are completed by it on the edges.... :-)
I'm for #1 too, but they're all fun.
I love yours, but I think that I would vote for the first one (the blue and orange one).
I'm about to make my crayon challenge quilt for my guild. We were only allowed to use 3 fabrics for ours: the two crayons we chose plus one more fabric. I chose sepia and cerulean blue. Ugh. I think I'm doing a Ricky Tims Convergence Quilt.
4. hand down. Different, creative, modern, awesome use of color.
2. is nice also. its' blue and brown! my colors.
1. is fun, if you like flowers, LOVE orange.
that's my 1,2,& 3 picks. but they are all lovely in different ways!
My favorites are 1, 4, 9 and 10!
I am going to pick the one that is most "my style" and that is #4. I love them all, though. Amazing what y'all can come up with, with only a crayon for inspiration.
like #1, 7 and the last one. But most of them are beautiful!
Well, it's hard...1, 4 & 19 (only because I love elephants!....elephants & giraffes are my fav animals)
What an incredibly hard choice. I think #1 and #4 are the most creative. I love #4 because it is so different.
1, 9, or 18... Seeing them in person made it even harder!
Definitely #1 it is so vibrant!
I would vote #1,7,14, although they are all very beautiful. Our guild did our color challenge using paint chips from the home store. I love seeing all the different interpertations of the rules.
1 then 4
But they're all fun - wish i could see them in person!!!
#4 or #10.
I had never seen a challenge using crayons. And it's fun to see the crayon attached to the quilt so you know what they worked with.
I like #1 best.
#15 is cool, too, as well as #8.

5, 9, and 13 . . . but I'm rather fond of the skeleton doggie.
I think #4. It makes me think of shafts of light.
