Quilting 9:30 to 4:30

Friday night I made a quilt top! I had a bag of blue scraps that had been sitting around for a couple of years. I finally got motivated to use the scraps. I started at 9:30 p.m. and finished it at 4:30 a.m.

Yes, I know I'm crazy, but I was on a roll and didn't want to stop. It didn't even put that big a dent into my normal self. Maybe because I'm not normal to begin with?? But on Saturday I felt fine and wasn't tired until bedtime... so I barely felt any ramifications of staying up WAY too late.

Now it's Sunday, and I still feel fine. Maybe the tireds will hit when I get to work Monday morning.

Anyway, this is the quilt top I made in the middle of the night:

It's great! And your energy and enthusiasm are wonderful to hear across these miles! I just LOVE to get on a roll! Don't even mind having to pay for it later. 8-))

So much fun top hear about your marathon. Want me to run by and drop off some caffeine? Yikes! Sounds like what knitter's do!

Very liberated design. I love it. I can't believe you stayed up almost all night.

Carol: That is beautiful and very "artsy". I love just the right combination of cool (blue/purple) and warm colors.
