Tea Towel Challenge - Fabrics

I'm participating in the Tea Towel Challenge over at Sophie Junction. See the button in my sidebar.

Here's my towel. I got it on e-Bay. I liked it because I am of Scottish heritage, and in Scotland there is even a castle (in ruins) that carries my maiden name. I hope some day to see it in person.

Here are the fabrics I intend to use. My bag piper is so classy and refined.. I decided it would be good to shake him up a bit with some flashy, celebratory fabrics! Even I am wondering how this is going to turn out.
