I spent all day sewing. I made a gorgeous quilt top! No picture yet.. I want to put the borders on first. I should have cleaned! But then, that's the story of my life. I still have Sunday and Monday. Maybe I'll get something done around the house before Tuesday.
Today I walked 2 miles.
Well, when we go to our graves, our descendants won't look around and say "I hear her floors were really shiny" Hopefully they will say "Great-grandma made some really nice quilts, and I have one!"
ReplyDeleteDon't Clean! That job will wait and nobody will remember whether the house was clean or messy but they will remember the quilts. Do you ever look at gorgeous old antique quilt and find yourself wondering if the woman had a clean house? I thought not. Lol. It's a beautiful quilt.
ReplyDeletereverse for me- thought I would sew Saturday away and cleaned/purged instead..still have a mess everywhere too...but I can see I am going in the right direction! looking forward to seeing the new top
